PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Consists of an inner clear PVC extrusion, enclosing a series/parallel array of clear incandescent sub-miniature lamps, encased in an outer layer of clear or colored PVC tubing that creates a neon effect when powered.  Produces approximately 70% of the light output of glass neon.  Developed to be resistant to impact, water, UV rays and extreme temperatures and still remain flexible and strong enough to bend into severe angles without breakage.  Known generically as "rope light".  This product is non-UL.  The only differences between this non-UL version and the UL version we offer is in the wattage per foot, the Power Connector and the End Cap.  The UL version has slightly less wattage and brightness by virtue of having 11 lamps per foot versus 12 lamps per foot for the non-UL version.  In the UL version the Power Connector is filled with silicone and the End Cap is adhered to the rope with silicone, while the non-UL version relies on a mechanical connection with the Power Connector and a friction fit with the End Cap.

 WATER-RESISTANT
 		  PVC tubing is impervious to water and suitable for outdoor use. 
 To weatherproof connectors, end caps and splices, use silicone sealant.
 MOUNTINGS  Rigid plastic U-channel or plastic U-clips.
 LAMPS ( 120V / 240V )  Incandescent. 6.5V, 70MA, 0.455W each.  Rated 25,000 hours.
 LAMPS ( 12V / 24V )  Incandescent. 2.0V, 140MA, 0.28W each.  Rated 25,000 hours.
 LAMP SPACING  1" (12V, 24V ,120V), 27.7mm (240V).
 LAMP COLOR  Clear.

 FIELD CUT & REPAIR


 		  Cut on silver mark between series of lamps.  If one or more lamps within a series fail, all
 remaining non-failed lamps stay lit.  Replace any series of lamps by splicing in a new
 series of lamps using splice connectors (non-channel mounted) or invisible splice
 connectors (channel mounted).
